The Expanding Man - Tribute To Steely Dan Sunrise Concert reviews
Overall- A Vibe
The bad: The microphones had constant issues, with the background music being too loud and the singer not loud enough. Not sure who conducted the sound check, but they should definitely get more hours of training. The pavilion acoustics were a bit better, but at times, it was the same issue. The food behind the main stage was not good at all. The wait time for nasty chicken nuggets was terribly long- over an hour.
Another negative was that we can't have good food at every stage. That was really the only downside of the actual show. Why can't we have good food at every stage?! The pavilion acoustics were a bit better, but at times, it was the same issue.
The good: There was plenty! Love all the trees/shade, multiple stages, lots of space to walk around and move around. This venue is so much better than Columbus Blvd. years prior. The lineup of performers was awesome. The ease of buying tickets and checking in was smooth and flowed really well. HATED that some people didn't perform and were replaced but LOVED the folks who were added last minute. Close to west philly neighborhoods for parking. Overall, everyone was peaceful and singing along. It was really fun!
